An edit of 40 stylish wardrobe & homeware items to keep you warm and cosy in and outside of the home during the winter months
Fair Isle knits, hot water bottles, stylish (and comfy) pyjamas, throws and bedspeads, plus accessories to keep you warm when you leave home
We woke up to snow today; a light sprinkling of frosty white powder covering our balcony and the surrounding streets and cars. It’s the first snow that I’ve seen settle in Paris for a long time and it was a welcome sight. Although I prefer warm, balmy weather, I can tolerate the cold if it’s crisp, sunny and bright, and snow certainly helps to lift the mood. Plus I’m a homebody through and through and will find any excuse to hunker down and get cozy at home during the winter months, so I don’t actually mind when the temperature drops.
I’m also a Taurus, so it’s in my nature to create a beautiful home, nest and surround myself with cozy, lovely things. When it comes to interior design and designing for clients, I have the same sentiment and don’t like to sacrifice comfort for style - I believe a home needs to be comfortable, liveable AND aesthetically pleasing - it’s a balance between snug and stylish; you need to feel proud of the space you live in, but also be able to curl up on a sofa with a good book and not worry about creasing the cushions.
So I’ve put together an edit of cozy (but stylish) things I love - from a selection of Fair Isle knits, hot water bottles (an essential life item in my opinion that’s not only great for keeping you warm at night during the winter, but also ideal for helping with back and period pain), pajamas that are stylish and comfy to sleep in, to a puffa coat to keep you warm from head to toe and lights to help create a warm glow at home…
