My Spring Style Wishlist
Ballet shoes, snake print, field jackets, leather and pops of color that pair perfectly with neutrals, if you subscribe to a more minimalist Parisian-inspired style like me!
Spring is just a couple of weeks away, so I have been contemplating my closet even more closely. Every season I do an inventory of my wardrobe; I assess what I want to keep and start to filter out (Marie Kondo style) what doesn’t bring me joy, or just makes me feel a bit meh when I wear it.
I still believe in building a great capsule wardrobe of basics that make it easier to get dressed in the morning, but fashion is also meant to be fun and this spring, amongst the neutral color palette that I tend to gravitate towards, I also want to wear more color (namely red and yellow), prints (animal rather than floral) and just be a little bit more adventurous with my styling.
Although I’m craving pops of brighter color (like the green jumper in the photo), my love for brown hasn’t slowed down - to the point where Indy (more on our new fur baby soon) also has a brown leather lead, as well as a brown and tartan harness. Me coordinating my outfit to match hers this week did not go unnoticed by friends! You will find some gorgeous chocolate brown jackets in this edit along with ballet shoes, red items, leather, a yellow round-necked fitted jacket and field jackets. Enjoy!
And a reminder about edits for free subscribers - you will now be able to see the first three items, but paid subscribers will be able to see the full edit. These edits take me a long time to pull together, which is why they’re reserved for my most loyal subscribers. If you enjoy my content and haven’t yet upgraded to paid, I hope you’ll consider it. A subscription works out at just €5 a month (instead of 6€) if you sign up to the yearly plan (that’s only 1.16€ a week), where you will also get FULL ACCESS to my archive of wardrobe, homeware and travel edits, including my Little Black Book of Paris addresses.
Convertible grey trench (an alternative to the classic beige style, plus the sleeves are removable)
Red crew neck sweater (an easy to wear piece if you want to add some red to your wardrobe)
Navy waxed jacket (field coats are back - think Barbour - but I love this slightly more affordable navy style)
