Where I would stay, go for dinner, drinks (including where Victor and I went on our first date) and visit if I were organising a date or a romantic weekend in Paris...

I don’t know about you, but I will take any excuse to celebrate, even if it’s only adhering to calendar traditions, but doing them well. It’s why I love Christmas, Easter and yes, even Valentine’s Day. And while we don’t always go out to dinner the evening of due to work constraints, I always buy a card; I’m a card person and do get upset if I don’t receive one (hint hint V if you’re reading this), often a gift and I love to receive flowers (for example). And so, with February 14th on the horizon, I have been thinking about where in Paris I would happily go on a date - that doesn’t necessarily have to be on Valentine’s Day.

I love going on dates with Victor and even get a little antsy if we haven’t done something interesting out of the house together for a while. Paris is, afterall a pretty good place to be when wanting to do something as a couple. (The exercise of writing this newsletter has also served as a brilliant reminder!) So IF I were to concoct my idea of the perfect romantic weekend in Paris or where I’d like to go on our next date, this is where I would eat, stay, go for drinks and what I would visit and do, in case you are booking a stay in the city with someone special soon, or just need some inspiration…
