My May edit is on it’s way, apologies for the delay! But if you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen that I was lucky enough to fly to Mykonos, Greece last Wednesday to celebrate my friend’s bachelorette, so I’m still catching up! I was originally invited by Santa Marina to visit for a couple of nights with Victor, but decided to use the nights and combine them with the bachelorette (it was my friend’s preferred destination), and they kindly gave us a larger villa for five for three nights. We had the most wonderful time, followed by two nights at Bill and Coo. It was an incredible (and very welcome) few days in the sun after months of rain in Paris. Plus it was my first time staying on the island. I’d never considered visiting before as Mykonos had quite the reputation for being a party island (when I was growing up in the UK), which of course it still does, but what I didn’t realize, is that you can easily avoid the more hectic and let’s say, more tacky places, and pick and choose the calmer, chicer spots (both our hotels were serene and luxurious respites from the crazier bars and restaurants).

The skies were blue, the sea crystal clear turquoise, the temperature was a balmy 24-26 degrees celcius and the food: Greek and international was delicious - we ate at an array of restaurants ranging from Thai to traditional local fare, and enjoyed every meal. I loved every minute discovering this beautiful jewel of a place that really does have everything you could ask for and I now can’t wait to go back!

Now to my wardrobe…
